Stephen Silva is a professional close-up magician from Salem, MA. He entertains audiences from mere inches away through amazing sleight of hand with everyday objects.
For the past 20 years, Stephen has studied, practiced, and performed magic all over the country, from the Las Vegas strip to the Hollywood Magic Castle and even while skydiving! (No, seriously.) His clients include organizations such as Yahoo!, The American Heart Association, and Costco Wholesale.
Stephen developed an interest in magic at an early age after receiving a magic set from his uncle as a Christmas gift. During one of many visits to the magic shop in his hometown of Salem, Massachusetts, he noticed a brochure for lessons taught by a local professional magician. As a young teenager, Stephen attended his first lesson and became hooked after seeing the power that live close-up magic had to affect audiences in a way that other performing arts could not. Stephen continued his exploration of magic throughout high school and college, where he performed shows and worked part-time as a demonstrator and consultant at a regional magic shop.
